FOSS would like to thank the Urban Nature Store, on North Queen Street at the East Mall, for their very generous support of our "FOSS Winter Bird Feeder Project" at Colonel Sam Smith Park Skating Trail" again this year. The Urban Nature Store has donated a large quantity of black oil sunflower seed to this project. FOSS volunteers have been refilling the feeders every day since early December, and will continue to do so until the Skating Trail closes in March. We are attracting a great variety of birds. Please check out the feeders when you are at the park!
