Birders in the park were delighted by the continual presence of an adult red morph, Eastern Screech Owl during the first week of May.

It was hoped that a mate would turn up and one of the park's owl nesting boxes would be used this year ..... but, sadly, he/she seems to have moved on.

A pair of ravens has been recently observed carrying nesting material in to one of the park's fir trees. A couple of nesting attempts have been made in past years.
